How to Play:
Chess is the classic two-player strategy board game.

Objective: Capture the opponent's King to win the game.

Game Modes:
1. Play vs Bot — You play as White against an AI opponent (Black).
2. Play vs Friend — Two players take turns on the same screen.

How to Move:
1. Click any of your pieces to select it — valid destination squares are highlighted in green.
2. Click a highlighted square to move the piece there.
3. Click a different piece to change your selection.

Piece Movements:
♙ Pawn — moves forward 1 square (2 from starting row), captures diagonally.
♖ Rook — moves any number of squares horizontally or vertically.
♗ Bishop — moves any number of squares diagonally.
♕ Queen — moves any number of squares in any direction.
♘ Knight — moves in an L-shape (2+1 squares), can jump over pieces.
♔ King — moves 1 square in any direction.

Special Rules:
• Pawns promote to Queens when reaching the opposite end.
• The game ends when a King is captured.

Difficulty Levels:
• Easy — Bot makes random moves, preferring captures.
• Medium — Bot evaluates piece values to make smarter moves.
• Hard — Bot uses look-ahead to plan stronger moves.
