How to Play:
Country Flag Memory is a geography-based visual memory challenge. Study the country flags shown during the memorize phase, then find them scattered on the board!
Memorize Phase:
1. A set of country flags appears with their country names
2. Study them carefully — remember both the flag design and the country name
3. The countdown timer shows how long you have to memorize
Find Phase:
1. Flags from many countries appear scattered randomly on the board
2. Click on the flags you memorized to score points
3. The thumbnail strip at the top fills in as you find each target (✓)
4. Wrong clicks deduct points from your score
5. Find all target flags before the timer runs out for a speed bonus!
Scoring:
- Easy: 4 flags, +200 per correct, -50 per wrong, speed bonus ×3
- Medium: 8 flags, +300 per correct, -100 per wrong, speed bonus ×5
- Hard: 12 flags, +500 per correct, -200 per wrong, speed bonus ×8
Rounds:
- Find all target flags to complete the round and advance
- Timer runs out = game over
- Score carries across rounds
Tips: Pay attention to distinctive colors and symbols on each flag. Many flags look similar — focus on unique patterns, emblems, or color arrangements!
