A ball falls from above — hit it back up with your bat before it passes! Control the direction by where you strike. The ball speeds up every hit and the bat shrinks every 10 hits. How long can you keep the rally going?
How to Play:
Hit the Ball is a reflex-based arcade game where you keep a ball from falling.
Controls:
1. Move your Mouse to control the bat
2. Or use Arrow Keys (←/→) or A/D
3. Click or press SPACE to start
Gameplay:
- A ball falls from a random position at the top
- Hit it with your bat to send it back up
- The ball bounces off side walls but NOT the top/bottom
- A dotted trail shows the ball's predicted path
- Miss once = Game Over
Direction Control:
- Hit the left edge of the bat → ball curves left
- Hit the center → ball goes straight up
- Hit the right edge → ball curves right
Challenge:
- Ball speeds up with every successful hit
- Bat shrinks every 10 hits
- Speed bar shows how fast the ball is falling
Difficulty Levels:
- Easy: Wider bat, slower gravity increase
- Medium: Standard challenge
- Hard: Narrow bat, fast gravity, shrinks faster
